End the Neglect
The Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases is an initiative of the Sabin Vaccine Institute dedicated to raising the awareness, political will, and funding necessary to control and eliminate the seven most common neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).

Yesterday marked the release of the WHO’s first comprehensive report on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) . The report has been well received and attracted a lot of attention in the news. We’ve compiled a great list of reads  mentioning the report, along with other articles about NTDs and global health including lack of shoes among the world’s poor, the cost (economically and socially) of NTDs in India, progress in vaccine development within global health, and the celebration of Global Handwashing Day, which is today!
