By Eldis JobsCountry: Haiti Closing date: 18 Feb 2013 INTITULE DU POSTE: Chemical Laboratory Technician Mission: Partners In Health/Zanmi Lasante seeks Chemical Laboratory Technician to support local initiatives targeted at addressing malnutrition through manufacture and distribution of nutritional products in Corporant, Haiti. The Chemistry Lab is responsible for using scientific techniques in the chemical analysis of raw ingredients, finished products, and other chemical technical support. This position is responsible for applying high quality laboratory technique in the analysis of samples submitted for routine release testing, including, ingredients, in-process samples, and finished products. Additionally, support is provided to commercial production for follow-up to the facilities test results when necessary, in support of process system validation, and requested projects. The typical workload will include activities such as lab cleaning, reagent preparation, ordering, and screening tests.
