Provide expert guidance in the fields of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). Promote and support a culture of compliance, risk avoidance/mitigation, and accountability throughout the organization. Identify opportunities to build GRC programs into the daily operations of the Office. Support Advisor, OIST and Head, IT Governance and Portfolio Management Unit in integrating GRC functions with Portfolio Management activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources and adherence to processes and procedures. Country: Pakistan Closing date: 23 Jul 2013 Founded in 1933, the IRC responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to communities forced to flee from war, conflict or disaster. The IRC’s history in Pakistan dates back more than three decades, to 1980 when hundreds of thousands of Afghan refugees fled here because of violence at home. Today, the IRC continues to assist those who remain displaced by providing water, sanitation, health, education and protection services. The IRC has also aided those impacted by natural disasters such as the 2005 earthquake and the 2010 record floods. The IRC distributed hygiene items; rehabilitated damaged schools; provided protection, health, water and sanitation services; and implemented livelihood projects to help farmers and small businesses get back on their feet.
